All students are individuals, so whether you choose to attend a small class, to have a private lesson, or to join my larger weekly class, I will take care to understand why you've come to yoga

Lessons follow an arc whereby the first part ensures that we are ready for more challenging yoga asanas which come later in the class. Calm breathing is emphasised throughout and classes will always end with simple meditation and relaxation.

I teach with great attention to body alignment to help students understand the imbalances within their own bodies, and maintain a focus on both lengthening and strengthening muscles. Over time, students will build up both flexibility and strength but more importantly will come to understand why tension builds up in their bodies, and how they can mitigate this.
